Vega Alloys supplies Carbon Steel Rounds in a wide range of diameters for direct use in machining, fabrication and engineering. Our rounds are available in bright drawn condition for precision applications requiring close tolerances, and in hot rolled condition for general engineering.
Bright drawn rounds undergo a cold drawing process that improves surface finish, dimensional accuracy and machinability — ideal for CNC turning, milling and drilling. Hot rolled rounds are more economical and suitable for structural and non-critical machined components.
We offer medium carbon grades (C35, C45) for shafts, pins, keys and general machine parts, and high carbon grades (C55, C60) for springs, agricultural tools and wear-resistant applications. Custom lengths can be cut to order.
